What does a boy who is afraid of planes, a young girl who transfers
into country school, a doll-like boy that talks, a strong bishounen who
has severalissues to work out, a teacher who barely speaks Japanese,
friends with strange attitudes, a vain bishounen who needs water, a
cursed fox, and bold oni girl have in common? Well, the answer is that
you can read about them in Raburi Hyakkajiten a manga by OKANO Fumika.
Now on to the main plot: SAKURAI Noa moves from Tokyo to
a school in the country and experiences an unusual day of surprises. First,
MOMOTA Kasumi introduces herself and that in itself was unusual. Secondly,
Noa faints when a boy "doll" talks to her, then she wakes up to find out
that there aren't any dolls talking - it's just a chibi-boy, Niga Taroumaru,
(or Taro-chan).
However, no shoujo is complete without a young lady tripping and
a cute guy saving her from a horrible fall. Unfortunately, the rescuer
is called by the teacher before he can introduce himself. That leaves Noa
with the problem about having to finding her rescuer again.
The following day in school Noa begins her investigation for Mystery
Man, but due to the Rituku-sensei's limited Japanese Noa is unable to find
out anything useful. How will Noa find him again? Will that stop Noa from
finding out who it was? As if! However, Noa is distracted by performing
a heroic act. Taro-chan is in danger: It seems that chibi Taro-chan
has fallen into the toilet, and no one seems to know how to take him out,
(or they don't want to!) Now it's up to Nao-chan, and she saves the say,
and Taro-chan rewards her with a whistle. Join Nao-chan as she begins her
adventure with new friends, animals, and just all out weirdness!
